“We have had a wonderful term of after school sessions of Kindysport at our local park.  In 8 weeks, the kids (3 & 5yrs) have experienced a whole range of sporting skills, games and physical activities.  I’ve also enjoyed being a spectator, sitting under the trees and having the odd chat.  It was also great that brother and sister could participate in an outdoor activity together, gain confidence, earn sporting and social skills and enjoy their time thoroughly.  At the end of the term, they each received a big surprise! “Wayne worked with both of my kindergarten classes for four weeks consolidating work that we had been doing over the last three terms in fundamental movement skills. 

I found the sports games program that Wayne offered to the children both fun and educational.  He has a wonderfully relaxed manner when working with the children and was able to teach them some of the fundamental movement skills that we had struggled with (throwing and catching) by explaining the movements in terms that the children understood.  They learnt and were learning without being aware of actually being taught the skill; Wayne did this through games and getting the children actively involved in their learning.   

We were so impressed with the reception that Wayne received from the children and the learning that we saw taking place that we have booked Wayne to introduce our fundamental movement program in term 2 for a four week block and then to check on the children's progress in another block of consolidation and games in fourth term. 

Wayne's program perfectly fit in with the expectations outlined in the educational outcomes and I believe that Kindysport would be an asset to any childhood class program."
