About Us

With a background in tennis coaching and teaching introductory sports programs for 3-6 year olds, founder Wayne Hanrahan started the business in Perth in 2006 with the goal of making physical activity fun for kids.

Wayne recognised that parents want their child to try a variety of sports, learn the skills and discover which sport/s their child enjoys. The program has been refined to meet these goals and help children develop confidence, socialisation skills and gross motor skills.

Originally from Rockhampton, Wayne returned at the start of 2010, while the programs continue in Perth, managed by Leigh Angerson (who has recently been awarded The Best Sports Coach in WA by the Department of Sport and Recreation for the government's Active After School program.)

Central to the success of these programs are the simple learning cues that appeal to young children to help physical development. In collaboration with several kindy teachers, Wayne also developed the fundamental movement skills story book series which enables teachers and parents to share these cues with their children in an interactive story format.
